AHVAP Member Support Zones

AHVAP members are segmented into four member support zones (West, Midwest, South, and North) that encompass our diverse membership from across North America.  AHVAP members are encouraged to attend a different Zone meeting each month to learn from their peers, foster collaboration, and learn emerging best practices. Each AHVAP Zone meeting will provide the opportunity for 0.5 hours of continuing education after completion of a short online learning activity. AHVAP is an international organization, and as such, we aim to bring best practices to all of our members and eliminate geographic boundaries.

 What are the AHVAP Zones?

AHVAP’s Zones were purposefully created to enhance member collaboration across geographies and to foster the sharing of best practices. All AHVAP members are permitted to attend any and all AHVAP Zone meetings. 

Who will host the AHVAP Zone Meetings?

Each Zone meeting will be led by a member of the AHVAP National Board of Directors, supported by the AHVAP HQ leadership and a dedicated members of the AHVAP Board of Directors Executive Committee. This approach will ensure that each AHVAP Zone is exposed to our Board of Directors and their various different styles. 

Am I able to attend other Zone meetings outside of mine?

Absolutely, you can attend ANY virtual Zone Meeting that you would like to. We encourage you to attend a Zone meeting each month so that you can learn from your peers across the continent. 

Do the AHVAP Zone meetings offer continuing education credit for participation?

As a new AHVAP member benefit, those that meet all required criteria for earning continuing education will be eligible to earn 0.5 hours of continuing education towards the Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP^TM) designation.
