As such, we are bringing you a piece of the conference in the form of a virtual conference format that will take place with 6 esteemed speakers from the Annual Conference as an enduring virtual conference. 6.0 hours of continuing education are available for those that meet all completion criteria. In today's complex and challenging healthcare environment, the importance of leadership cannot be understated. During this high-impact keynote, Dr. Garrett will provide a top ten list of easy to implement steps to unleash your fullest potential and delivery on the power of "caring" across the entire healthcare continuum of care. 

There is significant confusion in the marketplace regarding what makes a product environmentally preferred. A significant barrier is the lack of standards and guidelines in environmentally preferred purchasing. Decision making based on initial costs rather than life cycle costs is a common barrier for healthcare institutions given the mandate that so many are faced with. Commodity managers are required to balance several priorities such as cost, diversity, standardization, clinician preference and quality while making purchasing decisions. This case study creates a scalable, data-driven and standardized approach to help health care organizations advance sustainable procurement using 23 environmentally preferred attributes. The analysis model enables facilities to evaluate, monitor and remove harmful chemicals from their supply chain at the organization, facility, department, category and individual product levels, to protect both patient and staff safety.

This virtual conference is approved for 6.0 hours of continuing education credits for registered nurses and 6.0 hours of continuing education for Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP) recertification.
