AHVAP has several committees consisting of dedicated member volunteers who carry out the activities of the group. The committees strive to provide our membership with the best available resources.

Conference Planning Committee
AHVAP conducts an annual educational conference for members and non-members who fit AHVAP's eligibility requirements and are interested in learning more about AHVAP. The Conference Planning Committee will handle the logistical (hotel, meeting rooms, agenda and provide local information) and educational planning for the annual conference..

Education Committee
The Education Committee is responsible for the research and development of educational opportunities for AHVAP members.

Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee is responsible for coordinating the flow of information into and out of AHVAP, including but not limited to; press releases, brochures, interviews; and dissemination of pertinent AHVAP datasets.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is a standing committee of the AHVAP that provides oversight on matters related to the membership of the association. The Membership Committee shall oversee issues including, but not limited to, the recruitment, orientation and retention of members, and shall ensure appropriate member categories.

Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee is responsible for identifying and cultivating potential leaders, as well as overseeing the nominations process.

Website Committee
The Website Committee is responsible for ensuring that the AHVAP website is meeting member needs, as well as offering fresh content and ideas for the website..
